What we provide
FFMI Check is a free web tool offering fitness calculators (FFMI, Normalized FFMI, US Navy body fat, lean body mass, TDEE, macro distribution, 1RM) and related educational content. Everything on the site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
Acceptable use
You may use FFMI Check for any lawful personal or commercial purpose, including:
- Running calculations for yourself, clients, or friends
- Linking to specific pages from your own site, blog, or social media
- Quoting short excerpts of articles with attribution and a link back
You may not:
- Scrape the site at high volume or automate abusive traffic
- Redistribute the full article content as your own

Formula accuracy
We implement peer-reviewed formulas exactly as published in the source literature (Kouri 1995, Mifflin-St Jeor 1990, Epley 1985, Brzycki 1993, US Navy circumference method). Each formula has documented accuracy limits that are noted in the accompanying articles. We do not guarantee that any output is suitable for a specific person or purpose.
User content
The site does not collect user-generated content. If you email us through the contact form, that message and your reply chain become part of our records.

The FFMI Check name, logo, article text, calculator UI, and site design are © FFMI Check, all rights reserved. The mathematical formulas themselves are in the public domain or belong to their respective originators (cited in each article).
